I’ve had this idea in my head since I signed up for the Apple Developer Connection. One of the required fields on the sign-up form was ‘company.’ Since I don’t really work for a company at the moment I felt I should just do what I always do in such situations — I faked it. I couldn’t think of anything clever at the moment so I turned to my roommate. After very short deliberation he suggested Weyland-Yutani. I told him that was a punch on his nerd card … and the nerd card was born.

My MacBook has experienced two kernel panics today. That makes three this week. I'm becoming tempted to take it in to the Apple Store … and look at the new iMacs. :-)

My dad's announced that after this year's harvest he will be retiring from farming. As a present to himself he bought a 2007 Mustang Shelby GT.

So this is how candidates run for president? I've expressed numerous times (in the real world) how I think politicians can be actors but actors can not be politicians. These people are getting into office because they know how to emote and twist the will of the audience. The act their way into office but being in office isn't for acting; it's for legislating.

I'm getting quite tired of this country and often times this entire planet. I feel as though I'm caught inside a novel written by Kafka, and Bradbury and all the other distopian futurists.
